I FINALLY got my shoes in the mail. So here I am painting them late at night because I couldn't wait any longer to get started on them.
I've been wanting to do a pair of Loki shoes for a very long time and I finally got around to get the money to get the shoes fully customized. (It took a whole month just to get them in.) 
I obviously kept the outer sides white so I can paint easily without struggling.total paint time: around 5 hours so far.
I used my regular apple barrel acrylic paints mixed with equal parts of Golden Medium GAC-900. That stuff is a godsend.
I just can't waiiiiiit to get them done and start wearing them.

Omigod if I had shoes like that, I'd just carry them on a silver tray with me everywhere, so everyone could look at their amazingness with out ever scuffing/wearing away the image~ ;u;

Haha, I tend to do that whenever I make myself shoes...I won't walk like a normal person. I start walking with baby steps and being extra-careful even though I know they'll be fine.

Gorgeous! After you're finished painting on shoes like this, do you spray them with some kind of "protectant"..? If so, what do you use?

I don't usually spray with any protectant. Nothing usually happens when I don't. But then again, I'm very careful with my shoes.

It's a fabric paint when the mediums are combined. There's no worries.

Do you have to buy a certain pair of shoe so the paint doesn't wash out? Or is it the paint you're using that you mentioned?

It's the type of paint I use, along with the medium to add to the paint.

The medium I mixed with it helps it turn into a fabric paint so I have no worries.
