Description RWBY fans know that some months ago, some fans made a "transforming crescent rose" that required the wielder to unscrew every single part, move every single part, and reassemble every single part in order to 'transform'. More like a "swappable crescent rose". Anyways, I've been working on an actually transforming crescent rose - with mechanics. Each part should eventually be able to slide into place at the click of a button rather than wasting 20 minutes screwing things back in place. This prototype draft is made out of 4-ply paper (paper folded on itself twice and glued) and some wire that I cut and twisted as hinges and joints. Of the parts you see, the only missing features at the moment are a moving tip blade, the black extrusion above the scythe, and a mechanic to make the blade open with the extension piece that attaches the head of the scythe to the stock.

Thoughts? Tips? Ideas? I welcome them.

I'd actually like to have a small one and just have it on a pen or something.

They will start selling new figures from RWBY, and they'll have weapons with interchangeable parts along with transformation probably.

I'll try ^^ it'll be close, but I don't have enough foam (or space to work with) to make it actually full-size.

Yup! I'd love to compare notes once we're both done; it'd be neat to see how someone else did it!
Also, wood?! That's gonna be really heavy XD
