Here's my contribution to the shimeji world! Grell Sutcliffe, shinigami extraordinaire, from my current obsession Kuroshitsuji.The download link is off to the right. There you'll find a zip file with everything you need. Just unzip the file wherever you'd like your new desktop buddy. Inside you'll see a couple folders, but the only file you need to worry about is the one that says 'Shimeji-ee'. Make sure you click the biggest one! It's the JAR file. I've noticed that sometimes the shimeji won't start if you click the application.
The source files came from the Shimeji English Enhanced project [here ], so a big thanks to them!
These little guys were all drawn in SAI and put together by me. If you find any weird animations or have any issues, just let me know in a comment here and I'll try to help you out.

You download it, and do some stuff, and then you have this little thing, crawling around your screen. You can fling it around, too. ;w;

So I downloaded it, but I'm not sure how to unlock the shimeji so to say.

It's working for me.
Thing's to check for to get it to work.
Use WinRAR to open the file.
Make sure you are using Java 6, it will not work on 7 >_>
When you open the file double click on Shimeji-ee.exe
It's ask you if you want to use whats selected then just click yes .w.

Hello ^^ I downloaded your file but I could not get it to work. It keeps telling me that the temp files could not be made and my access is denied. Any help would be most welcomed ^^

Shimejis DO work on macs, I have one myself, they won't work on a mac if they're over 0.8 mines just below.
But for some reason the grill doesn't work for me either.

This is the first shimeji I want to download on my new laptop and I'm having problems opening the file. I don't know if my computer doesn't have any software to open the file or i'm just stupid :/ can you help??
