Just a bit of fun redesigning his costume backgrounds are still a b!tch.

I started thinking about redesigning superman's costume way back in 2007. I was sitting on the porcelain throne and thought DC characters' underwear on the outside look was really stupid. So here's my take.

Aside from getting rid of the red undies. I also wanted the symbol to act like a clasp for his cape so that he could pull off Batman's cool "cape covers his body" look. but since superman doesn't have an iconic cowl, the S would have to be visible so he doesn't look too generic.

I'm not a comic book guy so I don't know if they have already done a costume similar to this. But my main inspiration for this was the justice lord costume supes wore in justice league. I loved that design.

I know The new 52 launched last year and they redesigned the suits minus the undies, but I felt they were kind of lazy.. they really DID just remove the undies. Superman looks okay, I guess, but Batman looks like he's wearing long johns
