Space pirates finally got her... I guess...Why can't they just make a more traditional 3rd person shooter/adventure game of metroid instead of the gimicky one coming in a few months. I've been waiting for one since the N64 days.
Not that the Metroid prime series was bad though... they were pretty cool games.

Well, I don't mind the chest bouncing much... but yeah, I'm not a fan of team ninja either. I was totally disappointed with ninja gaiden.

yeah, their games have gotten a lot worse. dead or alive was a good place to finish, but they kept making more and more terrible games.

four and the second one were definitely some prime fighting games of their time, really fast paced and well thought out. but better stuff has come (like SC4), so it's pretty much died out by now. i still load it up and play from time to time; it's aged rather well.

I watched the trailer a few months ago and I didn't like it. It seemed too melodramatic...

I read it in Nintindo Power I'm a big Metroid fan so I thought I might check it out. Turns out Other M takes place between Super Metroid and Metroid Fusion the last games in the series, to sort of bridge the gap between them, so you basicly get to play Super Metroid over again but it is much better for instance if you have already played a Metroid game, other then Prime, you know that it is a 3rd person platformer game so you basicly have only one option go right now the game is 3-D so you can go up and down. Another example is Mother Brain, if you have ever played a Metroid game other then Metroid 2: The Return of Samus, Metroid Fusion, or the Prime Series then you would know who she is, looks a lot more intimidating. Also, Zero Suit Samus may be a playable character but they aren't sure yet. Enemies no longer drop missile ammo and the likes but Samus has a new power called concentration allowng her to recharge her health and missiles. Although it is a 3rd person platformer you can switch to 1st person by pointing the Wii remote at the screen thats the only way to fire missiles and point it up to use concentration in this mode. Other M is promises to show us more on Samus's past since no other game has really covered it yet. Things like how she got the suit in the first place although most everybody knows Metroid fan or not.
Anyway sorry this was so long but that issue of Nintindo Power is off the shelves to make room for new issues so I don't think you could really find it anywhere else. If you have anymore questions I would be happy to answer them and I will try to make it short. :3

I watched the E3 trailer of it. It looked pretty cool but I'm still not sold on it. I'll wait for the reviews before I decide to buy it.
