Description
The Sumerian/Babylonian goddess of war, sexual love, fertility, rain, dates, and thunderstorms. She grieved over human sorrows and was the protectress of marriage and of motherhood. She is young, beautiful, and impulsive. She is closely related to romantic love, but also familial love, the loving bonds between communities, and sexual love.
She is a benevolent deity.
She had a husband Tammuz who died, she tried to rebound with Gilgamesh but he rejected her. She was depressed and decided to go see her husband in the Sumerian Underworld. She went through 7 gates and at each gate had to give up a personal accoutrement in the form of her clothing. When she gets there she was told by Ereshkigal the queen of the dead, that she can’t see her husband because the dead belong in Underworld when she tries to leave the queen of the dead unleashed 60 diseases on her and imprisoning her. Ea (Enki) learns that Ishtar is stuck in the underworld and as a result because she’s a fertility goddess nothing fertile happens on Earth.
So he creates a Gender ambiguous individual Asu Shu Namur to rescue Ishtar. They arrive in the Babylonian underworld and charms Ereshkigal sprinkles some water of life of Ishtar. Bolting out of the underworld, the queen of the dead curses Ash and everyone like them to be ostracized from society. When Ishtar learns about this curse she gave him the gift of healing and prophecy. “If you’re gender non-binary, you’re magic, Ishtar loves you, and even Ereshkigal thinks you’re hot.”(Red from Overly Sarcastic Productions).

She doesn’t really like Yahweh because he caused the fall of the Babylonian empire and his worshippers still treat women and the people like ASU horrible.

I gave her a harpy design because I saw she had bird feet, so I decided to give her more bird like features.
