Description
The Hydra of Lerna. The Hydra is one of the children Typhon and Echidna. It has poisonous breath and blood so virulent that even its scent was deadly. It started out with one head but grew more as it grew.

Its tongues are prehensile and can grab meals. It was amphibious and enjoyed the swamps of Lerna guarding the entrance of the underworld.

If you were to cut off its head, more would grow in its place. But if burned the cut areas it could not regenerate. Its teeth can even summon undead skeleton armies.

Hercules and his nephew Iolas killed the hydra. And its corpse became a constellation. Heracles took his arrows and dipped them into the hydras blood.(which led to Heracles death and to godhood)

It wound up in a layer of hades called Asphodel. Which the Hydra mets its other siblings. Guarding the entrance of Elysium.

(I made the hydra colorful because Alot of lizards are quite colorful).

It swims in the rivers of Hades, without the fear of attackers.
