Description
The Japanese god of thunder, lightning, and storms. Carrying Taikos (Japanese drums) with tomoe signs he creates thunder and lightning by striking his drums, causing great destruction and also giving rain water the world. He is seen as a warrior or protector figure in Japanese temples.

He often hangs around his brother Fujin the god of winds and his son “Raitaro” son of thunder. He rides on a cloud and he is seen as the more destructive brother.
Despite his destructive ability and fierce appearance he is actually good with kids and enjoys watching them play and helping their parents.

He is also called Raiden.

He hates Yahweh and he with his brother cause trouble in heaven by bringing great storms and lightnings to just annoy him.

He is a bringer of rain, and when there was a drought it was said he was either slacking off or imprisoned. He is a bringer of destruction and life. He is more of a trickster, unwilling to listen to monks, priests, or even the emperor of Japan but will answer to other deities and to revered Buddhist figures.

He likes how Buddhism is still going on. He is the brother of many gods including Amaterasu, Susanoo.
He and his brother were born in Yomi by Izanami after she died, they escaped through a crack in the Boulder.

He fought with Thor and most storm gods to a storm battle.
