“God” Usopp, Sniper King.

The Sniper of the Straw Hat Pirates, Bounty $200,000,000 Belly.

Backstory:
Usopp is the son of Yasopp, a pirate who joined "Red-Haired" Shanks' crew and sailed away, leaving behind his wife and son. Usopp began to lie that pirates were coming. He first began this practice when he started yelling to his ill mother that pirates were coming in the hopes that it would strengthen her spirits enough to keep her alive. After his mother died, he just continued to do so because of the pain of having lost both parents one way or another, leaving himself alone.

Many of the villagers made a show of chasing him and throwing things at him for running through the town, but they were used to his antics. Some villagers even used his daily run through town as a sort of alarm clock. Aside from his cries of pirates attacking, he also made up stories about adventures to entertain Kaya, a young girl he met who was sick and had to stay in bed all day.

However, Luffy invited him to join the Straw Hats. With a new crew member and the new ship provided by Kaya, the Going Merry, the Straw Hat Pirates left Syrup Village to continue their voyage to the Grand Line.

Abilities:
Both his physical and mental strength have all increased greatly during the two-year timeskip, as he was able to quickly dispatch all of Caesar's men on his own. While many of his attributes lie mainly in his ability to hit nearly anything he sets his sights on with his slingshot, he is now shown to be strong enough to keep both Robin, Luffy, and himself afloat in freezing water.

Usopp has outstanding marksmanship abilities with the slingshot, his favorite weapon. With his skills used in conjunction with unique ammunition, such as the Firebird Star, Usopp can deal devastating damage in long-range combat. In addition to his slingshot, he also has great skill with cannons and other forms of Naval Artillery, enough that the crew views him not only as a sniper, but as their gunner, responsible for operating and maintaining their ship's cannons and artillery as well as using them. His skills include using the ship cannons and the Gaon Cannon of the Thousand Sunny.

His marksmanship is nearly unmatched, accurately hitting Spandam and some Marines from a vast distance of over a mile out-distancing even the guns the Marines had with the wind against him. In order to stop Sugar a second time, he demonstrated his ability to calculate and predict trajectory angles, influence of wind and distance, and even incorporating booster shots into his projectile, thereby allowing him to hit his target located indoors, physically located too far away to even be visualized, through a small opening in a window.

Usopp also has extremely sharp eyesight and has on more than one occasion seen or noticed things before his crewmates. Usopp is also a highly analytical tactician with incredible ingenuity in battle, able to use deception and cunning strategies to fight and defeat enemies who are physically more powerful than him.

While not at the same level as Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, and Jinbe, Usopp's endurance and willpower is considerably strong. After a major battle, Usopp tends to have severe injuries often caused by his determination to reach his goal. He will attempt to continue even with his injuries.

Another one of Usopp's attributes is that he is a fast runner, which makes him an evasive fighter. He managed to run away from Chew for several minutes, despite Chew being a superhuman fish-man. In battle, Usopp uses hit-and-run tactics and works best as part of a team where there are more physical fighters to watch his back.

This is due to the fact that he is so high-strung and jumpy, and he often gives into his basic survival instincts. He has great artistic abilities and is an adept liar. Due to his engineering expertise, Usopp is able to utilize the available technology and tools to construct and upgrade weapons. Unlike Franky, who focuses on heavy arsenals, Usopp focuses on handheld weapons. His known masterpieces include the Kabuto, Kuro Kabuto, and Clima-Tact.

Usopp's weapon of choice is a slingshot which he used in combination with a variety of pellets for long-range combat.

Usopp has developed other attacks unrelated to projectiles, though they are mainly jokes. These include the 5-Ton Hammer and others. After the Skypiea Arc, he has started using Dials for attacks such as using the Breath Dial to house explosive gas, using the Flash Dial to blind his foes, and using the Impact Dial to absorb and return blows.

Usopp is shown to be very adept in using Pop Greens, as shown when he defeated some of the Fake Straw Hat Crew by creating a carnivorous plant that resembled a monstrous Venus flytrap with tendrils.

He keeps a small garden on the Thousand Sunny for growing more Pop Greens, in order to maintain a continuous supply of seeds.

Fan Abilities:
I had an idea about him using his Kabuto as hook shot staff, which he can use to pull enemies closer. I gave his Kabuto the ability to grab his foes and use them as a makeshift weapon to bludgeon or throw his enemies. I call “Usopp Hercales Toss” and “Usopp Foe Hammer”.

My Design:
His overall design has little change. I made his Kuro Kabuto’s design is now longer because I liked the Slingshot staff and now it resembles bambo. I gave him dreadlocks because wasn’t a fan of the afro.

I gave him a battle hammer at his side. I changed the Kabuto’s grow up forms design to have spiky leaves and tail for grabbing.

He might be based off the “Tengu” Japanese mythical creatures that known to be brave warriors and mischievous beings which have long noses.
