EDIT: Uploaded the wrong file - if you downloaded this on Oct.2 and got the file BigRedMachine.zip instead of TinyRedMachine.zip, then you've got the iTunes 5 skin - not the AveTunes skin. Sorry - everything is fixed now

Just hit the round button in the center of the scroll wheel.
This switches to display the info-panel.
In this state mouseing over the artwork display temporarily shows playback controls.
Hit the center button again to go back to the original view.

You need to install AveDesk 1.2, which is a program that creates widgets on your desktop.
You can download AveDesk here: [Link to AveDesk thread on Aqua-Soft.org forums] .
* The AveDesk install includes a widget/desklet called AveTunes - this is the iTunes controller.
* Extract Tiny Red Machine and place its folder in your Avedesk\Desklets\AveTunes\Skins folder.
* Start AveDesk - it has an icon in the system tray. Right click it and show the Desklets Control Panel.
* Add a new iTunesWdget desklet. The widget appears on your screen/desktop.
* Right-click the widget (if iTunes is closed there will be a delay as iTunes starts) and select Desklet Properties.
* Configure the widget here. On the Skin tab you should be able to select Tiny Red Machine.

this is fantastic mate, found it on the aqua-soft forums. absolutely love the smooth animation!
one question tho, i read on aqua-soft a fix on how to get the art to display while the animation was playing but i have no idea what andreas was talking about. any hints?

I have no idea - I couldn't get it to work either.
But knowing that it's a bug, it will probably be fixed when AveDesk 1.3 is finally released.
