I strongly disagree with the belief that a reboot or remake of anything can "ruin a childhood". To quote Gravity Falls creator Alex Hirsch, "Anyone saying a remake "ruined my childhood" shouldn't worry. If you whine this much your childhood is clearly still alive and well!"

What Powerpuff Girls 2016, or as I call it "Powerpuff Girls Xtreme" doesn't seem to understand is that actions speak louder than words in terms of characterization. No matter how hard they TELL the audience Bubbles is the cute one, the more we see her do things like backtalk her father loudly, scream and turn her hair into fire, and go mad with power, the more it becomes clear her character is loud, violent, and angry. And that's not who Bubbles is. That's why I specifically call Bubbles in that series "Bubblevicious."
