This was actually pretty easy to make. Got the inspiration from a photograph of a building.

It's just vertical rectangles of the same size (with a 1px to 2px or more distance between them) then spell out the word you want on different layers. Make sure the font size is a bit wider than the rectangles, so you get a bit cut off when it's clipped.

Rasterize the letters and use a clipping mask to position them onto their respective rectangle shapes. Position them according to your taste. That's it.
