So big! And her gills are still big and beautifull.
Haven't seen such beautifull gills at adult axolotls before.
You must be taking very good care of her. I hope mine will be one day just as big and beautifull as your Ampion..

I love axolotls. Unfortunately here in California they're illegal. ):
Could my friend draw your lovely axolotl?

I didn't know they could be kept as pets. Do you need a license to own one? I'd love to have one because they're so interesting and lovable.
Beautiful shots Well done.

Axolotls are so cute they don't even look real, I've been tempted to get one for a long time, are they hard to care for?

so true - i always think the same when sitting in front of their tank: its hard to believe that they are real and alive XD
actually caring for them is rather easy, before getting them i was completely new to aquariums and all- i've now been caring for them for almost one year and they are happy and healthy -
its important to obey a few simple rules though:
- cool water (~18°C and never above 25°C)
- low current
- no (!) water conditoners
- sand or fine gravel as ground
(bare bottom works as well)
- places to hide for them
- tank should be big enough
(at least 80x40cm for two animals - better 100x50cm if you want to keep up to 4)
thats the most important things besides a few other facts that are easy to learn :3 (you can pm me if you want to know more! )

maybe shes would be OK with it -
i think its important to know that they age 15 years and older when taken good care of :3

Perhaps, I also want a pet rat...
But my dog is a rat terrier, so that won't work out. xD

Wow!!!
A very beautiful photo and you have a cute axolotl.
You know...this is the very first time that I see somebody has an axolotl as a pet, I'm from Mexico and even here is rarely to see that.
Greetings!

thank you so kindly! i can imagine that there arent too many people around who have them as pets, but there are a few!
wild axolotls became rare in mexico thats true, their natural habitat is almost destroyed T_T"
