Well, this started out as doodling while I was 'studying' for exams. It accidentally progressed from there...
Anyway, here's to my favorite 'natural' disaster, Godzilla. (My second favorite disaster being the end-of-the-world asteroid

1. "godzilla 2014 has face like zilla face style" That is a bullshit lie, Legendary did not use Zilla as inspiration for Godzilla's new look, they said they wanted the design to look modern AND look like the Toho classic, what you said is a misconception and a lie.
2. "but this not mean he is not Godzilla" Uh, yeah he is, and for three good reasons: A) If it looks like Godzilla, acts like Godzilla, then it's Godzilla, and your so called "opinion" doesn't change anything; B. Unlike Zilla, Toho actually recognizes Legendary's version as Godzilla, so if Toho could see the strong resemblance, then Legendary did something that TriStar didn't - get it right; C. Unlike Zilla that was so unrecognizable that Toho had to change it's trademark, Legendary's Godzilla has very strong resemblance, and kept in character, to be under the Godzilla character trademark, so LegendaryGoji is Godzilla and Zilla isn't, so deal with it, and leave me alone.

But Zilla is the official name for the TriStar kaiju, doesn't it technically mean that you know this character is renamed Zilla? Even Roland Emmerich in a recent interview said that he knows Toho took his kaiju (USED to be his) and renamed it Zilla, there for, this thing is called Zilla, not Godzilla. Dude, there's only one, and that's Toho's original, you seem to know this already, don't you?

Yeah, but calling Zilla "American Godzilla" is completely wrong because: #1. The name doesn't fit - Zilla doesn't resemble the original character, and it's pretty much calling a character something it's not. #2. Again, the title goes to Legendary's Godzilla - the TRUE American made Godzilla - but again, I honestly don't care about the title, I refer the character by their real names. #3. There's no such thing as an "American Godzilla" and/or "Japanese Godzilla" anyways, it's just Godzilla and Zilla.

• The copyright only refers to the movie and the movie alone since it was a pre-2003 product, before the monster in it was RENAMED, but it does not apply to Zilla.
• Godzilla definitely had dozens of designs, but Zilla is not one of them.
• "godzilla 2014 looks like bear with lizard skin" At least it actually looks like Godzilla, the TRADITIONAL design that Toho first created 61 years ago and the design that the character should always have, and he sure looks infinity times more powerful than that skinny-as-hell pipsqueak Zilla. He got himself caught on the bridge so that the military can shoot him, he fell for fish traps twice, kept trying to go through a wall to escape from the torpedoes that knocked him unconscious, and he didn't find a better and smarter fighting strategy to fight Godzilla in Final Wars, so how is Zilla smarter again? He couldn't even catch a taxi.

'Cause saying he's "fat and stupid" (which is what you are, you ugly pig) with lack of evidence doesn't prove anything. First of all, Godzilla is not fat, that's a misconception that people like you have taken it out of control, he's bulky and full of muscle, meaning he's a billion times more powerful than Zilla, and the fight in Final Wars and the IDW comics proves it. Second, Godzilla has sapien-like intelligence, meaning Godzilla actually thinks before he acts, he's able to figure out how to turn himself into a magnet, how to blow up his enemies from the inside out, knows how to survive everything that has been thrown at him, and he's smart enough to outsmart Zilla twice, by knocking him with his tail while Zilla was in the air, and ambushed him in the IDW comics. Plus, Godzilla survived nukes, conventional weapons, black holes and meteors, and you say "stupid"? The only thing stupid here is Roland Emmerich for making that movie and its fans who dis the fans of the original Godzilla franchise and character and have no respect for it, i.e. you.

This is a GREAT drawing. I don't know what is the problem with people on this page. This is GODZILLA (duh the movie is called GODZILLA not ZILLA). Zilla is just short for godzilla. Emmerich's 1998 version is the only good one. It is much more realistic and Godzilla actually looks real, not like the original one that looked like a crappy doll. Also, Godzilla is a force of nature not a gargantuan impossibility. The original Godzilla fed on radiation, while the 1998 Godzilla fed on actual organic food. 1998 Godzilla is not as large to make it more realistic. And the original Godzilla looks like a dinosaur and is very slow, as opposed to the 1998 Godzilla which looks better (a mutant marine iguana-komodo dragon fusion) and is incredibly fast. Just because the Japanese didn't like it and called it "Zilla" doesn't mean it isn't Godzilla. It's no big deal Godzilla never even existed. And if it did, i guarantee you it would look and behave like Emmerich's version. So there.

Toho owns this monster since 2003 and they renamed it Zilla because is not Worthy the GOD in his name, you can't take away Godzilla's Durability and Atomic breath that's like taking away Spiderman's ability to shoot web, making him realistic? what's realistic with Godzilla to begin with? Atomic bombs don't create giant mutant Monsters so what's the deal with being realistic? they took it down with missiles! He looked nothing like godzilla neither had any of Godzilla's trademark features. Two simple things: Godzilla breathes fire and is indestructible, the only thing that can take down Godzilla is another Giant monster. THIS is not Godzilla. As a monster he's cool the problem with it is that they called it Godzilla when he was nothing like Godzilla,if they called it the beast from 20.000 fathoms people would've loved it everyone including godzilla fans, Zilla Jr. the one from the series was actually praised by Toho they even gave him the nickname ''Godzilla Jr'' because that one had Atomic Breath and the durability of Godzilla. Fans actually like him better than the movie one

Smh... Obviously, Godzilla isn't real. Obviously, atomic bombs don't create giant monsters. The only thing that could create a beast of that size is God himself, and he obviously never did, which is good. 1998 Godzilla actually had a story to it. And, correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure the American 1998 Godzilla made more money than any of the other Godzilla movies before. Ever. So..... There you go. Done deal. Tap Out.

Sorry for disagreeing, but 1998 got Zilla completely wrong. He's supposed to be an unstoppable force of nature, therefore representing the horrors of nuclear testing and warfare. He's supposed to be unstoppable and terrifying, not just an animal trying to lay eggs. The reason he doesn't look so good is he was created in 1954, there was nothing they could do but use puppetry and men in suites, CGI wasn't in movies until 1982, so, what do you expect -_-

King Kong vs Godzilla ('62) was the most successful Godzilla movie ever produced and grossed ¥350,000,000 and $1.25 million worth of theatrical rentals. So that's (in modern day money terms) $484,942,648.

So, no. Godzilla ('98) did not make more money than any of the other Godzilla movies before it.

You're really not that smart, are you? You talk about modern day money terms for KK vs G but leave it out for Godzilla '98.
Adjusted for inflation Godzilla '98 would have made $236 million in the US and $403 million overseas, so in total $639 million.
Therefor Godzilla '98 is still the most successful Godzilla film ever released.
