A big waste of time, money, and government resources for a witch hunt to make the left feel better. I wonder if those meddlesome Russians will be to blame in 2020? Because as I see it, there's nobody running who really can break the incumbent president. Nobody fresh or new to really give the Democrats the fuel they had back with Obama.

nah ... it's not waste of time & money, thanks to Mueller it's an ordinary criminal investigation, and despite whom you support, you should be glad to live in a country where this kinda delicate investigations are possible, even when  the administration is targeted, because there's only very few countries in the world with such a strong "Separation of Powers", not even in so called good old Europe (corruption is often stronger)

Philosophically, maybe. Still, the investigation brought up no conclusive and damning evidence linking the president to Russian meddling or any form of drastic cyber alteration and manipulation of the outcome on a notable scale. Case in point, in reality it was a waste of time and people blew up money and media coverage over a "nothing burger". Until there's actual evidence showing a massive wide-scale scandal with the Russian government influencing the outcome of the 2016 in a concerning substantial manner, yeah it basically is all fruitless and a way for the left to keep the president occupied until they can get some force in 2020.

True, it's important symbolically, but realistically and pragmatically? Eh, there's no hard evidence that condemns Trump to be a Russian puppet.

absolutely right, but i.e. Hilarious Clinton would've probably the first president who went directly to prison, lol (for other reasons, of course, but same investigators involved), that's btw. why the world (outside US, left AND right) feared that in panic, she may perhaps engage a world-war then, ehmm ... (I bet Putin was afraid, too ... that's why he may have supported Trump, or at least somehow checked if it would be appreciated) ... see, the fact we (most Europeans) don't like Trump - personally, not just politically, I made my first Trump satire befeore he even thought of going for presidency, and in Europe practically no one even knew his name - doesn't mean we automatically like the possible alternatives, that's for sure
