The goggles being used as eyes for the facial expression, was a really cool factor when I doodled them. Then I just couldn't leave well enough alone.
I really had to simplify the Mechanicus design I was basing them on though.
Games Workshop does not mess around with their miniatures. The Skitarii rangers have dozens of tubes and wiring components that would make repeat drawing really terrifying.
So I guess now they've been changed enough to be used by necessity rather than choice.

I'll bet!  The level of detail in those figures is astounding!

With the simplified form, it kind of reminds me of a character profile for old Newgrounds cartoons.  More detailed than what was there, but simple enough to animate!

I love those miniatures, too bad I don't have those ones yet.
Though I secretly dread the day I'll have to paint them. Physically painting things is a whole different beast from digital painting.

I remember those guys. There were some fun animations with those guys.
Back in the good old days. I haven't thought about newgrounds in forever.

There is no undo key on real life paintings, that's for sure.  But if your very careful, I don't think you would need one . . .

The most frustrating part of real art. Unfortunately the thing being a 3-d model makes things a bit annoying with reaching bits.
I really need to get shader paints for those models.
