Long story short, I drew Duerr the other day and this is what came out. This isnt the one for the Poll though XD thats going to be a sketch dump of that character cause I SAID SO.

So During WWI, Udo Duerr was a chaplain (catholic tradition) with the 26th Wuerttemburg Division and sometime in late 1917 was taken prisoner by the British during a retreat while trying to protect a fellow comrade who was wounded. Needless to say, the officer that was in charge of them was HIGHLY anti-german and well... didn't treat them very well at all and after almost a month of being beaten up for information and starved into submission... Duerr kind of goes a little nuts.

Good news is he and the other three prisoners escape, but... he sort of has to live with this on his conscious and its not helped by the fact the mans pretty shell shocked. So much so that after the war, seeing anyone in uniform makes him uncomfortable.
