Yep it's Zhane, pretty much confirming that Astro Surge is a spiritual sequel to PR In Space. So here is his story:
Sensing that a great evil was about to come. The mysterious stranger known only as Silver, revealed himself to be Zhane the previous Silver Space Ranger.With his Digimorpher malfunctioning he and doctor goldian combined his old space ranger technology with the newer Astro ranger tech, to create him a new morpher the: Keitaizer and a new set of powers, that of the Brass Astro Ranger.
When Darkonda using replication technology combines a sample of his DNA with that of the Pshycho Rangers, he creates the Feral Rangers. More evil and dangerous than ever before, they are sent to destroy the Astro and Delta Rangers. Luckily for them when they are on the brink of defeat, the Brass Ranger shows up and with the combined effort of all 7 rangers they manage to destroy the evil Feral Rangers. But as we all know later on in the season there will be a greater evil to come..............

thanks man, I wanted to make it a spiritual sequel to space, having that feel but not being a complete rip off. btw check out my quasar howl team, who are my version of the ancient rangers concept from lost galaxy. well the Quasar Howl team are modern day guys using the powers of the Ancient rangers.
