No. "Many Happy Returns" is the only piece I had planned on drawing to commemorate the Pokemon anime's twentieth anniversary. Besides, Ash being kissed by one or more of his female travelling companions has been done to death already.

I wish Iris could return in Alola, I got upset when she didn't come back in Kalos, so this could be a way of the PokΓ©mon anime producers to apologize with Iris fans.
About Serena... Well... Whatever. But I'd get mad if they bring her back right after forgetting Iris.

I think it looks good, even if Iris and Serena aren't wearing alolan clothing. But it's okay, since some characters in both the anime and the games don't wear alolan clothes. (I hope that Serena returns wearing female alola protagonist's clothes.)
