"Zim!!" Dib yelled angrily, tearing after the irken down the stairs. "Zim, give back Vampire Bear right this instant!" He made a grab for the bottom of the irken's shirt, but Zim somehow darted out of the way. "Zim, you are going to be sorry!" Dib warned, furious beyond all belief.

Zim only smirked and mockingly waved the plush bear in front of the human. "What's that, earth monkey? You want your stinkin' bear back? Well, you'll have to get it yourself!"

Eyes narrowed, Dib shook his head slowly, hands pressed hard against the desk. "Ohhh....you are soooo dead, space boy.." With a loud "hi-ya!" and a Kung Fu like leap, the human pounced at Zim - who swiftly hopped backwards, laughing at the boy's futile efforts to retrive his bear. Dib only sighed, annoyed; they were in one of his father's labs, thus not really giving him much room to move. Luck was on his side however, as a silver lever glimmered behind him. Dib grinned mischeivously, subtly tiptoing towards the lever. "Okay, Zim, I'm giving you to the count of three to give Vampire Bear back."

The irken sneered, turning the worn bear over in his hands. "And what if I don't?"

"You'll be very sorry," Dib promised, hand on the lever.

"Zim? Sorry? HA! Zim doesn't apologize for anything, worm baby! Nice try," he sniggered.

Dib grinned a little. Oh, he better change his mind. "One............two....."

The irken tapped a finger on Vampire Bear's eye, bored.

"Three!" Dib pulled down the lever, watching with great amusement as two mechanical arms shot out from the wall - seemingly out of nowhere - and grabbed both of Zim's arms, jerking them upward some, and halting the alien from his dash to freedom. Vampire bear flew from Zim's hand, and the very startled irken blinked up towards the human, squirming against his restraints. "Grrr! Release me, Stink beast!" he snarled, kicking the empty air. "Release me, you horrible stinkin' human!"

Dib grinned, sitting back against the wall, his hand resting on a different lever. "You're just digging yourself deeper underground, Zim." His hand gripped the lever, and Zim's antennae immediately shot up in alarm.

"Dib?" he chuckled nervously, "I was just kidding - really! I wasn't going to hurt your bear, it was a joke! Didn't you find it funny?"

"Well, sure I did," Dib responded breezily, a wicked look in his eye. "I just think I'll find this even funnier." With that, he pulled the lever.

Oh, poor Zim...

You can cross whatever pervy ZADR thought going on in your gutter head brain; my story has absolutely NO ZADR or inappropriate pairings, so don't be hoping for them to hook up or something, at most there will be ZADF, THAT'S IT.

Their relationship does however alter slightly throughout the fic; they grow a weird twisted friendship and their very strange idea of playing usually involves some sort of torment to the other one. But sometimes they take it too far.

Anyways, basically Zim takes Dib's old teddy bear: Vampire bear, and Dib chases him around, trying to get it back. I don't think he's goign to actually try to hurt him or anything; they'z just playing. It's a scene from my fic, I just have yet to decide what that second lever does...
