I Like To Think That Gir Has Two Separate AIs And Personalities, One AI Is The Horribly Corrupted Gir Who DESPISES Zim And Tried To Kill Him And Eventually Turn On The Entire Irken Empire, The OTHER AI Is A Perfectly Functional AI Capable Of Having Feelings But Glitches At Times Because Of All The Garbage DATA Stored. So If Gir Were To Be Split Into Two Somehow, One Gir Would Be The Silly And Cute Gir We All Know And Love And THE OTHER Gir Would Be A Passive Aggressive Homicidal Robot Bent On Universal Destruction.Β Β

I did wonder if Zim actually felt threatened in that episode where GIR proved to be dangerous... Would've been an interesting side-arc to discover. But I guess that's why we have the fandom with creative artists like you to more fully develop these intriguing concepts!
