Description
.....But they can still be friends...
Okay, so like, there's a mouse running around upstairs in our laundry room, and Pappa told me that he's going to kill it.
........ Frack no! No way he's killing little mousey! Why is that always the instant reaction?
(And Nanna acting like I'm the world's stupidest person for not wanting one of God's little creatures - that have every right as any of us - killed!)
.....Sorry...I turned this piece of artwork into a rant.
(JUST REALIZED I FORGOT CHARITY'S HAIR!!)

What pretty eyes. And I love how pink it is.
Well, let's see.... Mice eat whatever's lying around, they carry diseases, stress people out, and probably bite. Painfully. Now that I think about it, they're a little like relatives you try to avoid.

Well, I could see why he'd want to kill it....but you're right, it should be done humanely.
We try to set humane traps for mice, but we don't really have many mice...and my dog killed the last one. But I guess that was just his instincts talking. He couldn't control it.

And my dog is a terrier. They were both bred for that type of thing, so we really can't punish them for it.
I'm glad we've only had mice though, and no rats.
I HATE rats...
(And speaking of cats, Kurisu has a role in this story I'm writing. Is it okay if I post it here and on Fanfiction.net?)

That's a cute piece.
And believe it or not, I know that feeling of not wanting to kill something. My dad almost swatted a firefly on his shoulder, but luckily, I got the fly and released it in the backyard.

our cat took care of that.

They're disease-carriers. Maybe that's why they want to kill it. But there are plenty of traps out there that don't kill the mouse. We try to use those.

From what I know about mice, if you use the traps that don't kill them and take them somewhere that isn't across a body of water, they'll always find their way back into your house. If you do take them across water, they usually become disoriented and die.
In other words, lethal traps are - surprisingly and unfortunately - the best and most humane way to deal with mice. Sad, I know, but true. :/
