Inside each of us we have a growing tree, the tree of life. It’s our sacred tree. This tree can get damaged from time to time. It’s the way of how life tests us all with affliction; to see if we will be able to endure the pain. Some of these afflictions would leave mere scares, but some would kill some of our branches.
It’s up to us to fight the dead branches. Not to let them suck the water from the rest of our tree. Not to let decay organisms infect our tree. Because once our sacred tree of life is dead, it’s so for our hearts.
