But yes, Zira and Scar tried after Shule to have a male, but Zira was a little ill and lost this litter. It happens sometimes ( 15 to 25% of pregnancy ) to lose a future baby because the body feels that this is not the time (sick, fall, injury, weakness, anemia, stress etc ...). Many women do not even notice it because it is very early (less than two months).
This is what happened to Zira. It happens sometimes. But Zira takes it personally. And Scar blames her for that too.

Even though I feel bad for women who lose their children due to miscarriages, it's NOT acceptable for Zira to blame Nefertari for her loses!
