Description

It came to my attention a few days ago that a lot of the Megaman characters are very good to use for character design practice actually.

After I drew Clown Man not too long ago, I went into a rabbit hole of sorts looking at all the robot masters and I came out of the experience with a lot favorites. Clown Man of course, Ice Man, Aqua Man, Bright Man, Block Man, Galaxy Man, Cold Man, Time Man, and quite a few others.

I talked about it with a close friend. We were both picking out our faves, giving them random personalities (ignoring the pre-existing lore lol), and even came up with a concept for a hypothetical "modernized" MM show. After that conversation we had, I got the inspiration to draw/deign a few. One of them of course being Ice Man.

I wanted to try and fuse some of his existing designs: The OG , Ruby Spears , and Fully Charged (which was also the one I took most inspo from. It's a good design).

I envisioned my Ice Man as being more childlike and having a similar voice to FC Ice, however he has a different personality. He usually is cutesy and playful, but when there's work to be done, he will diligently work on it until it's finished. He takes battles very seriously, whether he's fighting with or against Megaman. He's also a bit of a nerd when it comes to the artic.

This was fun to draw! Which means I am absolutely obligated to digitalize Clown Man sometime soon lol.
