Description
So, a Metroid Discord server I am on ran an art contest with the theme Metroid and Horror. I decided it would be fun to enter, so I draw up this piece and entered it into the contest. The idea was based on an old conversation I had with a friend shortly after Alien Isolation came out about if it would be interesting to have a Metroid horror game in a similar style.

It was fun playing with the lighting in this piece. I really need to do that more often, as it's always a fun time after getting past the intimidation factor, but I usually find myself hesitant to work with high contrasts for whatever reason. Maybe I should do more in the near future.
