Why in a nutshell?Well, in a way, I guess, you could say this personifies the KisaIta relationship. You see them --relatively normal, disregarding Itachi's slight smile-- as they are, partners, but look closely at their hands and you will see they are linked. They're not hiding it, per say, but they're not exactly making it public either, are they? They are content to have it be private, but it will not bother them if anyone takes notice.
*grins* Just my thoughts. I like the symbolism, anyway.

Gosh, it's been so long since I've drawn a KisaIta pic!
Too long, in fact, which is why I chose to remedy that. Lol. Mostly started because I wanted to draw Kisame shirtless, but then developed into this because I realized how long it had been since I had done KisaIta.
GASP!---
I'm highly pleased with how Kisame turned out --Check out those muscles! Woot! Am I getting good, or what?-- but very unhappy with Itachi. *huffs* He did NOT turn out the way I wanted him to. In fact, he turned out... Eugh...
*sigh* Why do I get better at Kisame, but can't quite grasp Itachi?

It might be because you're a Kisame fangirl, peopple tend to draw their favourite characters best :3 But I think Itachi looks fine, the eyelashes arew a bit feminine, but that's it =3

Lol. True, true. I remember seeing this one image of Itachi in the manga, right after he uses the Mangekyou on Kakashi, and he looks JUST like a teenage girl. I literally had to double take for a moment.

I think you draw Itachi fine.
As far as Kisame goes, maybe a little more blending with the abs could help them look more natural. As it is, I wish I could draw muscular arms like you can.
I'm not that into yaoi, so it'll probably never be my favorite pairing, but I like seeing you draw these two.

Maybe try stylizing him a bit more; Kisame's eyes, while similar to the ones he actually has, still look different. With Itachi's hair and face, you might not need very many eyelashes. I notice the way Kishimoto did Itachi, he gave him a manly face and body, but a feminine face...so it's probably just the right mix. I don't think anybody expects you to start drawing a carbon-copy version of whatever Kishi does.
