Gen 13 Club-Summer Fun Art ContestWe've got a new contest up and every member is invited to participate!
Your Art Contest Submission:
We only require that your submission be a summer-theme of some sort. Also you must be a Gen 13 Club member to participate in the contest.
Any Wildstorm characters can be included but you must have at least one of the Gen 13 kids in your submission. DV8 and Team 7 also acceptable if directly related to Gen 13. (btw, Christie Blaze is now an unofficial member of Team 7). This also includes new members like Holly Denton (aka Breakdown). Here is a link for Holly for those who haven't followed the comic lately ([link] ).
Nudity is ok but we won't accept anything that's pornographic. Your entry must be submitted by July 31, 2009.
The Voting:
Once all entries have been collected on July 31, we will have an open vote amongst the Gen 13 Club members. Each member will be allowed only one vote and contestants are allowed to vote for themselves.
The Prize:
The Gen 13 Club will donate a 3-month deviantART subscription to the winner.

lol... sure... but COLOR this time... and have more dynamics. you got plenty of time now! lol...
anyway, it's pretty much anything goes... no pornographic material of course... tasteful nudity is fine though... pretty much just adhere by the dA rules of decency and you'll be in the clear. lol. as for specifics, any gen13 members can be featured, including characters like lynch and secondary characters like alex fairchild, anna, or queelocke. also, dv8 characters are fine like bliss, copycat, evo, sublime, etc. etc. the theme is obvious: summer fun! dynamic imagery, detail, color, etc. are all bonuses and definitely will help in winning the competition since the voting will be via notes to the club from club members (artists of the actual pieces included, so feel free to vote for yourself unless you feel too egotistical about that. lol). oh, and the winner gets a 3 month subscription to dA... so that would be definite incentive to get some awesome ideas flowing.

Besides, it's easy for most artists to draw a naked body. Look at it as a challenge to your creativity.
