Description
Squash and stretch, changing speeds, walk cycle, and lip synch.I sketched each frame up really quickly, probably a few seconds for each. Just did it for fun and for practice.

I dunno... I was using a book for a lot of refrence (it was made by one of the animaion masters who worked on Pinochio, Fantasia, and Bambi), and it's become my animating prived possession~
Also I was using the onion skin tool to see the past frames so I could make it smooth.

Freaking awesome!! Seriously not bad for quick-sketch fooling around. Even though I'm not an animator, I know enough about it to know that you're already grasping tricks and techniques that many beginners don't understand. This looks awesome! I tried to do animation but I could never get lip synching down. Also the butterfly looks amazing. The walking look a little weird because the character was raising his leg too far up in a weird position. This still looks amazing, even if it was just doodling!

Thanks!!! I actually wasn't trying to hard on the walking guy, after a while I was just trying to make it as goofy looking as possible until he could explode. XD

I used Onion skin so I could see the past layers, but other than that I didn't use any tweening stuff to blend it!! 8D

Well, this isn't a critique but I wanted to ask how you make the moths move with the words?
I've tried, and it looks weird ;_;

I had the help of a really great animation book for refrence on some of these, but the trick for lip synch is just in making the mouths take the shape of the correct sounds. Like the AH sound has a big open mouth, RR is a clenched/closed mouth, and OO is a small o shape mouth. It helps to look in a mirror to see what your mouth does to make the sounds.
