Biography:
Ben unlocked this transformation sometime after hearing the his possible future self had this form. Although Ben did not use this form as mutch until Azmuth gave him his third Omnitrix.
Side note: Shellhead never appeared in the original series and was only named dropped, leading to him and two others to be left to the imagination.
