It did not have what I was expecting regarding the main characters (Link and Zelda obviously). It was actually the only thing that I was looking for in the game.

No, not that.

As you may know, the first information of the game when it was announced was the fact that the Black witch was jealous of the relationship between Link and Zelda. So, even if I was not really expecting any kiss or something like that, I wanted to at least see something about such relationship.

But...well, seeing the Let's play and Walktroughs of the Japanese version, I got my answer in that regard. And I was dissapointed by it.

I would say that was silly from you to expect, but based on what the game was building upon, I just scratch my head on what was going through the devlopers' heads.
I mean, it made no sense whatsoever (We're going to make a character be jelaous and ramapge Hyrule because she's jealous of a relationship Link has with Zelda[spoilers]make her counterpart a sad panda because she can't be with Link either[spoilers end] just to never get the characters to be together at all. Marvelous![sarcasm] Guys, if you were going to get nowhere why pick that premise to begin with? What the hell was that Nintendo?)

And that's exactly the problem.

Is not like I'm all "You guys SHOULD make a game with Link and Zelda being a couple!"...I mean, I would love for it to happen, but I know is silly with that NOT being a point of the games.

But they tell me that the villain is jealous of them? But still didn't show anything between the princess and the hero? What was the point then? I mean, never mind the fact that I still find ridiculous that the battle was caused almost just because of someone's jealousy...in the end it seemed like there was nothing to feel jealous at all because we don't see any relationship development.

Oh well...at least I was having almost no expectations before the release of the game.

I guess nintendo doesn't like the idea of romance maybe because they are not experts in that area, also, I'm okay with the little zelink parts throughout the video games, hyrule warriors inlcuded, the parts when they fought together, the eye contact, the end with the master sword, and many other just made my day, even if it is not compare to the amount of love in skyward sword.
In hyrule warriors I want to think that in all the game they were talking about the idea that in one way or another link and zelda will still end up together and they couldn't change it, it's like an end for the person to imagine.
well, at least that's my point of view, everyone has different opinions.

Well, bud, we're talking a Musou game here.
And those games have exceptionally bad voice acting and very awkward/campy writing.(This one is specially bad even by their standards though)

My guess is that they tried to pander with anime clichés to a more anime oriented crowd(Cia's and Lana's designs. Seriously, if anybody tell me that isn't pandering[in a nutshell, bewbs and a Miku reject] I'll cast Mudo on your ass), which still baffles me because they could easily pull out the romance they tried to tease so bad here. The game is filled with inconsistent choices(follow a narrative design clearly made to have voice acting only to lack the voice acting yet have instead a narrator!? ....WAT) so this is by no means surprising.

Es hasta cómico porque todo el mundo y su abuelita parece empujar a esa idea(Spoilers)(Cia tiene celos de Zelda y trata de conquistar tanto a Hyrule como a Link, y Lana le tiene celos también, sufriendo por no ser correspondida por Link, y diciendo que no se meterá por el vínculo que tienen los dos)(Spoilers) pero ellos no hacen nada. Eso. No. Tiene. SENTIDO
