I don't think there's any deeper reason that so many of Caleb's weapons are incendiary or explosive--fire is good for destroying evidence/bodies, and it's probably one of the easier non-perception Focus spells--just that he uses fire a lot more than is normal.

'twas itching to draw some Blood stuff for the past few days (worked up another idea backlog) and this is what came to mind.
