Well, grafts do need food. That's a given. They can also get hangry. She could be hangry here.
Unlike the Klyntar (Marvel Symbiotes), they don't need a specifically cannibalistic diet. On the contrary, they are omnivores like humans and simply require... A LOT of food (about 9000 calories on top of the human requirement of 2000 for a grand total of 11000 calories a day just to function).
