Well, this is a gift for a friend on the opposite side of the country from me. She thought it might be neat if I drew her bonding to a darkling from my comic book universe 'Virtue'.I hope she likes it.

I have a question and maby to heard silly on my part: what is the difference between a Darkling symbiote and Gwen's armor?
(I mean: abilities, skills, power and etc.)

While the true armor (Heretic's set-up) is focused entirely on physical combat, the darkling is more focused on psychological warfare and intimidation tactics. Portions of the darkling can separate from itself to create a trapping resin that can even reach for and entrap targets. The darkling can also use this semi-sentient liquid to obscure various detection methods (infra-red, radar, etc). The darkling tends to use such traps and lairs to ensnare targets and extract information from them via telepathy by touch.
Darklings do have more direct combat options. While not as strong as the true armor, a darkling does impart it's own enhanced strength and reflexes. Unlike the true armor, the darkling imparts a method of flight for the host to use. The darkling can also lob a sort of lightning attack and pursuers (only a few bolts at a time, then the darkling needs a chance to hide and recuperate its power loss).
The darkling also tends to rob the host of his or her individuality, and the original host's personality is ultimately destroyed. All that remains is a willing drone that does the willing of the hive mind of the darklings. A few can resist this process. There are also other exterior means of stopping the assimilation process. However, most hosts end up subsumed and dominated by the hive mind and simply become husks of the people they used to be. If separated from the hive mind after being subsumed, the person that remains will do anything he or she can to reconnect to the hive mind.

Last question: When Maria Montoya became the Darkness she has gain the control on of the symbiote in order to help her friend Gwen,
or she never made it?

That is very good for them, I realy hope and if I understand correct Maria remain as a Darkling .
I imagine the 2 how and very nicely co-op between them when they have to fight the common enemies, I mean Gwen as though Heretic and Maria
as though Darkling like the best allies.

No. Maria has a lower-rank darkling (and it's lobotomized to boot).
In the future, after the Queen has conquered Earth and held reign over it for almost a century she is destroyed. When that happens, every creature currently controlled by a darkling suddenly finds themselves with independent thought.
They behave like the Borg drones on Star Trek TNG, they have little or no memories of their former lives (if they had one). What's left of the Eymenize and the Garen survive on Earth with humans as they steadily dig themselves out of a dark age and begin to explore space.

Yep, I have a timeline of events that are broadly outlined 10,000 years in either direction of the main events involving Gwen and Maria. Another event that has potential for a story is an Earth expedition that is sent to the Garen homeworld in an attempt to learn the specifics of the Garen people and hopefully learn the origin of the Eymenize (none of them know where their homeworld truly is).
