Entirely acrylic. No emotion while painting this, I just like the color black a lot. And happen to find trees fun to paint. I labeled it as "crying" just because that's what it looked like. As you can tell, I don't really have much forethought in my art, I just DO. It's what makes me relaxed. Having forethought (though useful) stresses me out a bit when making art. Okay well. I don't know if it's too late for that information you wanted, but this wasn't a project or anything, it was just because I was bored and am a huge procrastinator avoiding work.
I just like "dark scenes" because I love the mystery feels, I'm not really into emotional paintings, realism is actually my favorite, I'm just not there (yet!). That's why I try to make my drawings more realistic along as the years go by.
Sorry if you were expecting some kind of deep backstory, but the truth is black is my favorite color, so I just wanted to play around with it. And thanks for letting me know I didn't have enough information on my art. I'll remember to post more information with my stuff in the future
