This is a sketch of Klein Klan (or Klan Klan, Clan Clang, Clan Clan ) from Macross Frontier.A Meltlandi or female Zentradi ( some race of giants )
I had fun with the hair.
Even if I haven't seen previous Macross, but I have enjoyed Frontier, even though I didn't like some of the main characters.

Also some ppl informed me that someone printed up a 2x6ft image of my rough draft and posted it on his/her dorm room. Awesome to know someone likes it so much to post it up on a wall.

Commander Klan Klan: Commander's log, stardate 54434333.5. My first interaction with the people of this time period has been...less than fruitful. A native human known as "GeneralGM" is ogling me in my macorinized form, even as I am in my Starfleet uniform. Yeah in a great deal of the official art it seems she's micro. While I do admit she does have a definate stroke of cuteness I like the other form better. But, moe sells so.

Moar Klein tweakin', and a definite improvement. You know, there's really a sense that you're looking up at some giant woman. Her revised facial expression looks good too. I get the feeling you're going to revisit some of those other Klein pieces too.
You know, you don't draw proportions like this any more. You've gone toward more realistic ratios lately. Or maybe that's just how you prefer to draw Samus. Either way, impossible body FTW.

They have the entire series on animefreak.tv and for some reason, I like her better as a goofy little micron than in her full-size form. As cute little ankle-biter she makes a great comic-relief character.
So far, I don't mind the main characters that bad. Alto's history as a kabuki performer make me laugh just thinking about it.
