Description
This is a sketch of Klein Klan (or Klan Klan, Clan Clang, Clan Clan ) from Macross Frontier.A Meltlandi or female Zentradi ( some race of giants )
I had fun with the hair.
Even if I haven't seen previous Macross, but I have enjoyed Frontier, even though I didn't like some of the main characters.

Crazy ass stuff, motion blur, layer manipulation. I'll note you how I did it in a little bit. It actually is a big process my friend taught me.

GASP, my long lost twin brother, lol. You can see where it's cut off from my background. Honestly I don't really mind that much, though if he/she starts claiming it is his/hers, then I'll come in and say give me credit.

Well she needs more screen time. But the Koing Monster needs more screen time in action senes too. It only had one transfomation and one attack

Ok she's getting screen time now, but not in a good way. She's "blood drunk" in ep 21. If they kill her off, I'm dropping the show.
I mean I know I saw Mikhail show "red flags" that he was going to die, but to be killed of by (IMO) a minor enemy, I think is just a cop out by the writers, not to give them both more or a story line.

ok... the last episode I saw subbed on CrunchyRoll was 19... so this is going to be kinda of interesting to see.
Normaly they don't kill off too many characters in Macross. My guess is that she'll sink into depression then have an episode following her depression; everyone else is fighting and loosing and she snaps out of it and saves the day. Or maybe thats too cliche >_<

Nice, although I meant sort of later. I know I'm going to enjoy seeing that. Even if it may not be too flatering on her character, sometimes seeing someone who's normaly calm go berserk can be, awe inspiring. Although I'm fairly certain this is in her giant form. Would be kinda funny if it was in her micronian form.

I just look at it from a writing stand point.
You make a great story line for both of them,
and how do you succeed them further along when it gets more complex?
writers kill one of them off, now there is no more complexity, now it's just bi-linear. Either she's going to go into depression and/or go on a rampage, in the end resulting in life/life with injury/death

I see what you mean. There was something strong there between them two that worked great for the story. The only reason to support the decision would be that this would of been something greatly unexpected. If they find a way to keep their feelings for eachother as something that continues on and lets her character grow, then alls well.
I'm not sure how many episodes Frontier is meant to have, but considering previous Macross series went well beyond the standard 26 episodes most anime follows, chances are they have plenty of time to work with this (or regret doing it)
