Description
This is a sketch of Klein Klan (or Klan Klan, Clan Clang, Clan Clan ) from Macross Frontier.A Meltlandi or female Zentradi ( some race of giants )
I had fun with the hair.
Even if I haven't seen previous Macross, but I have enjoyed Frontier, even though I didn't like some of the main characters.

Also some ppl informed me that someone printed up a 2x6ft image of my rough draft and posted it on his/her dorm room. Awesome to know someone likes it so much to post it up on a wall.

stuff changes in animation. Though... I have to say, this is probably the best CG in a televised anime Ive ever seen. There finally using it to enhance the show instead of using it to cut animation costs (Utawarerumono being an example).

Don't forget that she has some kind of 'frills' at her ankles (you see them in Episode 9 just before she jumps away, after the infamous VFslap). Excellent work, and one of the finer Vector drawn versions of the Macross Frontier character's I've seen. Especially as you didn't 'embellish' certain areas of her, but followed fairly closely to what we've seen on screen.

can you point out a screen to where the frills are? I couldn't find a good source for that, and that was the only thing I was looking for but didn't include.

Just after Michael shakes the VF's head, you see her feet as she turns, and then jumps away. Its probably the only good shot of the frills. That or way back in Episode 6 when she's getting into her Q-Rau.

I did something close to the frills. They look more like where the suit is tied so I made them look like frilly bows.

I re-drew the line art 3 times. 1. pencil sketch 2. rough digital sketch 3. touchups and detail.
Some of it is still jaggy but I like the jaggyness. Give her hair an edgy feel.
