Description
Unlike most concepts in the ContamiNOPEs series, this one was 100% completed and ready to be uploaded. However, like all of the designs in the series, I ended up starting over from scratch. The Patriarch was designed as the adult form first and the larval form second, which created some inconsistencies between the two designs, thus prompting the re-do. The larval form was designed first, then the adult form was drawn by using the larval form as a basis. This was also around the time when I started coming up with abilities for The Patriarch, thus further requiring a redesign of the adult form to accommodate these new abilities. There's nothing particularly wrong with this design, it's just that it didn't align with the vision I ended up creating for the character. In fact, I like the head (minus the atrophied gills) more than the final design and the tongue was neat too, even if it wasn't a listed ability.
