Lennox was surprised to say the least. Both foals were of even size which was nearly unheard of with twin pregnancies. Usually one foal was smaller then the other. But these two were pretty much even in size. No wonder Antix had had a problem birthing them. What as even more surprising, was the fact that shortly after the second foal was out, the mare was on her hooves and cleaning the two.

Where she got the energy was beyond him. Silently, he sat in the grass, soaked with rain and blood from helping the mare with her contractions, before pulling his cell phone out. First he called the vet, then Connie.

"Hello?"

"Connie. Their here. She had them in the west field."

For a moment a confused note sounded from the woman before she finally realized who Lennox was talking about. "I'll be there right now." And she hung up.

He was smiling as he put his cell away, watching as both foals got to their feet and looked at him like he was the strangest thing in the world. Connie was gonna flip over these two.

And Antix has had her foals. One Golden Chestnut Tobiano with Chimera Mutation, and the other a Honey Chestnut Tovero. Happy Momma is happy.
