Description
She never expected things to take such a horrid turn for the worst. She'd been spending a rather peaceful evening with the Elf Mage she'd gradually come to like when everything got turned upside down in it's head. She remembered the enraged Noble Woman suddenly rushing into the room, screaming harshly at both herself and the male elf before her wrath fully turned towards her.In a flash, she and the enraged she-elf were fighting, clawing and hissing at one another before a stab of seering pain laced itself up her face from cheek to forehead. She could see the blood--both on herself and the other female. It was also coating the piece of a shattered vase that had been overturned in their previous scuffle.
Now it was gripped tightly in the other woman's shaky hands, coated with blood. In that instant, she had screamed, a mixture of fear and agony before bolting to the window with all haste. She had ignored the cries of the male and had left with out looking back.
From there, she'd made her way into the foggy night forest, wanting to get as far away as she could. And now, here she sat, trying to quell the tears that spilled unchecked down her cheeks and mingled with the blood the slowly dried on her fur.
"I'm bad luck." she muttered, sobbing softly as her body shook. "Everything goes wrong....."
All she could so was sit there and shiver.
-----
Tielk on the day/night she was blinded by the jealousy of a Noble Elf Woman.
Enjoy.

Ouch--well, that's one way to explain the scar over her blind eye. Though, yeah, I would have no doubt for Hildar's ex-wife to have done that before he splits with her. (Already spurred by the husband of Nobility and now seeing him chummy with a lesser elf--yeah, she wouldn't be happy with that at all.) Still, poor Tielk--certainly doesn't help her low self-esteem as it is with doing that. Oh well, payback is sweet when it comes to the outcome between these three.
(Tielk getting the last laugh in the end with getting Hildar as a husband whom actually is attracted to his wife and getting pregnant with ease.)

The way I saw it, the vase made more sense, as I can't see Malthenniel carrying a weapon like a knife or dagger.
And as for her low self-esteem, no it doesn't. As I have it, she's lived on her own for most of her life after her parents passed, so she pretty much kept to herself. She's had some interaction with people, but not a lot. Hence why, interacting with Hildar is the best thing for her. And why she enjoys being around him.
(And yes. Last laugh indeed.)

No yeah, Malthennial is a Noblewoman--she has no experience with weapons firsthand since it's unbecoming of a lady. So she would utilize some sort of object otherwise as a weapon.
Also, yeah, I figured she'd have a troublesome time interacting with others. I think that's probably why Hildar tries so hard at first to ease her into being comfortable with him and ends up getting attracted to her in return. It's different and he actually gets to know her unlike when he was set up with Malthenniel and given no time to see if he was attracted to her or not.

Aye.
Yeah. I see her a few times at first swiping at him and hissing and such before she slowly eases into staying close and listening to him talk before actually delving into speaking to him face to face before actual physical contact such as hand holding and such.

Doesn't help with how big he is in his stag form--so she'd feel even more intimidated by him being near her at first. However, Hildar would keep coming back and talking to her before she got use to him. Probably after that, he'd start introducing himself in his elf form as another stepping stone.
But yes, eventually hand holding and touching is D'aww.

Ooo yeah. Hissing and screaming indeed. She's still feel intimidated when he's in elf form too. Though she'd warm up swiftly to that more so then his stag form.
And yep. Utter D'aww moment.
