It's the final days of 2014 and I'll be posting reviews to my year's worth of Gunpla Projects on CollectionDX! Sorry to keep you all waiting. I've had a busy year.This is one of my long term projects: the 1:100 scale Master Grade MBF-P02 "Astray Red Frame."
This is actually the Mobile Suit from the "Kai" kit I built two years ago, but I added on the Bandai Premium Exclusive "original" Red Frame's equipment and did a lot of additional detail painting.Β
I also replaced my 'stacked dry-transfer decals' on the Red Frame's shoulder with the single water-slide decal of the 'Junk Guild' brand.
I still haven't had a chance to finish building the BTF "Weapon Unit Equipment Type for Gundam Astray Red Frame" but I'll get to that soon enough.
As for the rest of the "Exclusive," I've put that away for a future project.
Red Frame is property of Lowe Guele!
The model was first created by Bandai in 2010, built by me in 2012-2014!

Amazing MG Astray Red Frame and I was planning on making this kit my second Gundam Model but instead I went a got myself the HGAC 1/144 XXXG-00W0 Wing Gundam Zero, the RG Gundam Exia, and finally the HGBF 1/144 Build Strike Gundam

Nice. This is a fun kit, a lot of great details and an amazing look when it's done. Sadly Bandai went with making a retooled Blue Frame Second L as the Red Frame's first MG and made the classic look of it an exclusive model.

I know what you mean(I've seen the reviews on this kit) but what you told me about the few draw backs about the Astray Red Frame doesn't bother me since the only thing I like about it is the Katana.

if only Bandai were brave enough to make the "Powered RED" and give us the 120 meter Gerbera to go with it.

That be nice to have on my shelf although right now I have both HGAC Colonies Liberation Organization Mobile Suit XXXG-01W Wing Gundam and XXXG-00W0 Wing Gundam Zero and soon I'll be adding HGBF GAT-X105B/FP Build Strike Gundam Full Package sometime within 24-72 hours since that package arrived in Doraville, GA. at 1:54PM EST today.Β

I know and I wanted to get that one too but I was on a budget of $25.62(B&N listed at $19.95 plus $3.99 forΒ Shipping & Processing which brings my total to $23.94. then I had to add $1.68 for the tax) But I was lucky since I had about 1.99 on Β what was a $25 VISA gift card that I got for my birthday last year plus the $25 B&N gift card that I got for Christmas.Β
By the way do you have the HGBF GAT-X105B/FP in that backlog stack of yours?
