Just a picture of how I envisioned some FOE characters I've been working on... took awhile due to work, but finally wrapped it up lolAnyhow... BG could be better, but just wanted to wrap this up haha

so we got a soldier, an optimistic stable dweller, a protectapony with attitude, (mysterious stranger?) with metal hooves, a griffon, a...a.. big daddy? and im calling her the little sister. (bioshock ftw!

If I could write it half way decent it might be okay lol
But pretty much you nailed them all on the head, and yea, Bioshock themed stable to explore (I'm sure there's 5 stories already done about it, but thought bout writing on it anyhow haha)

raider: "well well, what we got ere'? come ere' filly, ur mine!"
LS: "look Mr bubbles, an angel! but he's still moving... can you fix him please Mr bubbles?"
Mr bubbles:"*nautical noises*" *drill starts up*
raider: "hey! what the hell? get away from me you frea-"*gory flesh ripping noises*
LS: "oh thank you Mr bubbles! now i can free him properly."
*sitting staring at screen* nailed it!!!

Funny enough... that's pretty much exactly how it happened too, haha!
Fallout + bioshock... all the winning.
Gotta wonder who would win in a fight. Furious big daddy vs a death claw... 0_o

Telekinesis for earth ponies. Best would be the change loyalty power... use it on a hellhound. Gosh those powers would be mean haha XD

that's a problem.
But yea... if during that city the dweller gathers all the powers... god help the enemy 0_o
I mean... really, most unicorns can't do half those powers... or never have those powers

Don't think the wasps would mutate... the beauty of building a stable vault is that it stops the whole mutation thing... but holy crap, I forgot about the wasps.
Then there are all the hacking add ons too. There were plasmid DLC done awhile back too that gave a sonic boom plasmid (loved that thing!)
I imagine that after taking these, poor characters would be having to save what little adam they find (b.c I doubt there would be tons in the waste... maybe?)

i think outside 'vault rapture' Adam will be next to impossible to find so only those who come out of said vault with either a huge reserve or a little sister will be able to use plasmids..
hmmm, if that's the case, the only way for new plasmids to be acquired (because plot and such)is if they were being researched at a Ministry of magic/science facility or if the stable pony happens to be a researcher himself and can eventually make new plasmids.
just throwing ideas around now.....

Well I imagine that after discovering how plasmids are powered... the stable dweller wouldn't want anything more to do with them.
Especially if he discovered that the little sisters and big daddies were more enslaved to the stuff than anything (always chose to free little sisters :3)
I imagine ministries were working on this (I think in a few stories similar devices that give unicorns, or non unicorns, powers, were a big thing. I know murky number 7 found experimental memory orbs that gave the user sudden knowledge of a big spell I believe?)
Anyhow. I like the ideas, haha. Glad you liked that idea a lot (not that it already hasn't been done to death I'm sure, and I know it was hinted at in project horizons.)

i have read a few fics where there are 'potions' that give the user abilities outside their race (earth,pegasi,unicorn) very addictive though with bad side effects. perhaps this vault can be where they worked to perfect it? (maybe without telling the general populace the specifics)big daddies/little sisters were a common sight and acted as the undertakers/security force.
Q. what caused this party of urs to leave the stable? civil unrest? following somepony? catastrophic stable systems failure? science gone wrong? be interesting to know.
(also we should probably continue this as notes...i think we are breaking the comments with this reply chain.)

still working on the finer details of it all... but I'm using a program called Celtex to try to... refine the ideas and such... working on trying to make it worthy of FO and FOE haha

I saw a fan fic with a Mr. gusty bot, but yea, I thought a special protectapony would be cool as a character.
Oh and Mr. Mech has a OC with a protectapony too haha, so there's a few going around XD

Yeah I noticed that too, it being a meem and all, I noticed most of your characters are unicorns except the bot, the big daddy, the grif, and the one blue one with the hard shoes that stand like a zebra. I just love how the stable pony is waving enthusiastically.

Well I tried to stay away from pegasus for this and thought an Vet guard mare, a friendly vault pony, a early protectapony, a bounty hunter stallion, an assassin gryphon and a Big daddy and his little sister would be an interesting set XD
Haven't finished their background completely, but I'm working to maybe get an FOE story of my own out haha, maybe XP
