Description Therese never enough characters for the Title Box.... the proper title is:

Timorese Victim of Cyclone Nuri

I wanted to make this guy look like hes had a very very hard life. In doing my research, I found this drunk dude that was wasted at 7am. My old-guy is also buzzed due to the destruction of his home and his crops. Hes a beggar now with no hope.

VALUABLE INFORMATION MAX USERS.

This is for work, and by far the best thing that I think Ive ever done. I believe I finally mastered the SSS shader. I had no idea that the shader was affected so much by the lighting. I think until I did this piece, I really sucked at it. I did this tutorial and it saved my ass royally.... so thank you Mr. Sebastien Sonet for your magnificent lighting help. You can check out his skillz here: [link]

I'd also like to thank Mr. Max Kor for his hook up on the Night Elf stuff. Hes hardcore when it comes to photo realism. [link]

The smoke is not a particle effect, Its 4 meshes with a FAB material designed by Dzordz. You guys should check this out.... [link]

I would also like to thank MAX Wahyudi for his SSS help through the Ingrid Bergman tutorial. [link]

Paul Tosca helped out with Normal Map composting. Awesome.

I composited this in Photoshop. I added an unsharpen mask to the Final Gather Render, and then added the Ambient Occlusion Layer to it.

I decided to take the Crytech Texturing route because this project that we are working on has modular complexity. Thats the reason for my rather different texturing aspect ratios.

It's great! Only, smoothing his ear and head a little would improve it a bit.
