Did you take a class on photography?? I love taking pictures. But I don't have any formal or otherwise education. I just use my throw away camers.

I have taken a class on photography, but most everything I do I taught myself I suppose.
Besides for learning how shutter speed and aperature all work together, taking a class is definately not *necessary*. I think it's great to start off with a "non-fancy" camera. You can really show yourself what you are capable of with out any expensive equiptment.
