Description Self Induced Insanity
By Austin Hall

Experiences are seldom tragic,
Instead my mind creates the havoc.
While fear infests my waking dreams,
Corrupting pleasant memories.

Rampant thoughts inside my head,
Monsters underneath my bed.
Overwhelming pessimism
Chases moles inside their mountains.

Liars writing on my walls,
Scratched in all the bathroom stalls,
A mass of clouds consume the sun
Reality finally comes undone.

When all I seem to do is try,
I pray the hope to never die.
Deteriorate my mental health,
I brought this all upon myself.

Medicate insanity,
The cure has only poisoned me.
Laughing at the mirror I see,
The eyes of my worst enemy.

Oh yeah, I know right? I was such a worry wart, people could have misconstrued me as some variety of "worry toad"! But it's definitely helped me out with a lot of anxiety related problems. It's a magical herb I tell ya!
