recently, capcom just cancelled the Megaman Legend 3 project, and i'm a bit upset furthermore, i feel bad for the fans and developers working hard to make this project a success so here it is, a tribute art for Megaman Legend

Nearly ten years later, I can say it is. Inafune became a disgrace, and Capcom seem to be almost completely ignoring Legends, except for a trademark they registered. We might get a collection as a final send-off, though.

I understand how you feel. A once popular franchise that is thrown under the rug because developers believe it won't adapt t modern times even though it could. Mega Man and Spyro fall in the same vein.

It's already changing since the HD era of gaming start. Nothing but realistic fps games with bland design. It's like everything must be down-to-earth, hyper realistic graphics and guns, guns and more guns but no swords. It's like that's the law of the gaming industry like all 2D gaming franchises must be converted to 3D or simple games made dark and edgy. I rather if games were made on the PSone again, development would be faster and cheaper.

FPS games are not the only hardcore games. Platformers are for hardcore gamers as well along with RPGs and fighting games.
Game publishers and developers are now only catering to douchebags, the kind of people who ONLY play the likes of Madden and Call of Duty on Xbox 360.

I see - it doesn't make sense to me though, putting resources (time, people, money etc) into something only to cancel it. This also means they get bad rep from fans and consumers.
So it's bad all round. :/
