Hello everyone! This is Ray Higurashi (nee Toguro) from my story "Devilman DxD: Demons and Devils", based on Mama Higurashi from the anime adaptation of Inuyasha. In this version, her name is Ray and she's the only daughter of Master Genkai and Ototo Toguro (also known as "Younger Toguro"), making her the niece of Ani Toguro (also known as "Older Toguro"). Also, prior to her uncle's and her father's transformation into Devil Beasts, Ray used to be very close with the latter. Much like her original manga counterpart, she married Ryushi Higurashi, the descendant of the cursed monk Miroku and the Demon Slayer Sango, after the two of them had a fight by the Sacred Tree where Inuyasha was sealed for centuries; however, when Ray was pregnant with their second child Souta while Kagome was already four years old, Ryushi ended up by being sucked by his family's curse named Kazaana along with his mother Akari Tsujitani. This way, Ray and her daughter had to live to the Higurashi Shrine along with her mother Genkai. In the current time, Ray is very supportive of her children, when it's about their romantic feelings for their respective love interests (even if Inuyasha is a Dog Hanyou and Hitomi Kibutsuji the daughter of the Hanyou who cursed her husband's ancestor Miyatsu) or about comforting Kagome when the latter has become a Wolf Hanyou after being bitten by a Wolf-like Youkai, showing that Ray is a very loving and caring person.
