Symbiote prelude - Dreamer

Kelly walked down a street. It was dark, cold and raining. She pulled the hood up on her jacket and crossed her arms across her chest. She kept her head low and her fringe, which she had grown long on the left side of her face, hung out. There was no-one on the street, and everything was shades of red and black. As she passed an ally a group of teenagers about a year of two older than her pulled her into the darkness, pinning her to the wall. One held a knife up to her throat.
“okay there missy? We’re jus gonna get yer money an’ stuff and let yer go” said the leader, who had a Mohawk, a pierced lip and tartan trousers. They had Kelly arms pinned so that she couldn’t reach her Desert Eagles. ‘oh god, I’m gonna die…’ she thought. One of the guys un-zipped her jacket, everyone instantly froze.
“H…Hey!! S…She’s the P…Punisher!” one shouted,
“HOLY SH--!! I’m outta here!” three of them ran off, another two backed away, and three stayed with Kelly.
“well, looks like I’m gonna do the mob a favour tonight, ‘en I boys?” The two guys holding Kelly chuckled.
“Not if I can help it!” came a voice, and a piece of webbing pulled the knife out of the guys hand. Kelly looked up “Sp…Spider-Girl?”
Spider-Girl raised a hand “who else?” she said, fly kicking the leader in the head. Spider-Girl stood and looked at the two guys, “look let her go, and I won’t have to hurt you,” she said. Meanwhile the Leader had stood up, and pulled out another knife, the two other guys backing him up. “well, looks like we’re gonna get two ’birds’ with one stone eh?” he looked at Kelly “HEY! I’m talkin’ ta you!” Kelly wasn’t looking at him she was looking past, and looked absolutely terrified.
“What?” the guy turned “what you looking at…OH MY GAAAAAAAAAHHHHHKKK***!!” A black shape mover up behind him, and a clawed hand punched though his chest. The other two where run though with pieces that came off the…thing. The other two tried to run, letting Kelly and Spider-Girl go in her process, they didn’t get far when the thing punched one though a wall, and the other was torn to pieces. It turned and looked at Kelly and Spider-Girl.
“H…Hey…th…thanks…” said Spider-Girl as she held out a hand the monster punched her into a dumpster Kelly sent an uppercut into the things chest, only to find her arm get stuck, and the thing slithering its way up her arm. “AAHHH SP…SPIDER-GIRL?! WHAT’S HAPPENING?”
Spider-Girl took a step back “It…it’s Venom! Oh God! I’m Sorry Kelly!”
Kelly’s wide eye was the last thing Spider-Girl saw before she was covered by the liquid like substance. “MMMGGFF!! AACCKK!! H..HELP!!” Kelly was screaming, not in fear, in Pain, the thing was killing her, slowly. Kelly pulled the thing of her face and looked at Spider-Girl. Then everything went black.

Kelly woke up screaming, cold sweat covered her body, it was raining outside, and the room had a slight tint of blue, the shadow of the rain running down the window was reflected by the lightning to the sheets on Kelly’s bed. Usually, Kelly found this kind of atmosphere relaxing, she loved the blue tint, she also loved the rain and always got a little upset when it stopped. But now, she was so freaked out that even seeing her Skull-shirt was setting her off. She got out of bed, turned it so that the skull was facing the other direction, and got back into bed. She sat up and put her arms across her stomach, her vest she wore in bed only came down a inch or so under her chest, so her stomach was bare. She tightened her arms and lay back down. Stomach cramps, nothing unusual, she had them regular. It was that dream. She sat back up and stared out the window.
“…Venom?…” she whispered. She’d met Spider-Girl on a ‘errant’ to New-York, she really went to finish some of her fathers business with the mob. She’d Met Spider-Girl and became good friends…then she met Venom, when it tried to use her as a host. They’d got it off, but Kelly still got nightmares from it. She sighed and laid her head on her pillow. The sound of the rain on her window and the blue tint really was relaxing. She kept drifting back to sleep, but kept waking up
‘Gonna be a LONG night’ she thought.
