Description
This is a background or part of my background of the short 2D animated film im working on at university called "The Visitor". This is only a third of the actual full image, there will be another 2 sections of cityscape to the left of the scene where it pans from what apears to be normal city to the ruined city with an alien hive atop it. Anyways, comments welcome......by the way itll have little spacecrafts around it like flies in appearance landing taking off and searching the ruined city.Related content

Dude...this is spectacular. Once again, your sheer imagination astounds me. The design and composition is wonderful, from the ruined city to the awesome hive--I love how it sort of integrates itself with the surrounding ruins near the base Utterly amazing. I'm extremely impressed, as always, with how much depth you're able to achieve even in the lineart--the details literally fade into view as it becomes closer to the viewer, and become more generic and sectioned in the distance...it adds a whole nother layer of realism. Jamie's right--this is going to look stunning when coloured. I can't wait to see. Also, I wish you luck on your animation project--i'd love to see that, too, I'm sure it would be excellent. Astounding job.
